"My Europe" short film competition
We discussed the further realisation of the film competition
My Europe, agree on a concrete time schedule and
establish a team confronted with the following tasks:
- to make our competition public, especially in the focused
target group.
- to meet in April 2006 to select the contributions we are
going to show in Karlsruhe.
- to discuss the supporting programme around the screenings
of our shortfilm section My Europe.
The result of this workshop: "My Europe"
Polylog - contributions to a European public debate
Polylog follows a simple
idea: Each month we pose a question which is relevant for
all Europeans. The most interesting answers from all over
Europe we publish in different journals all over Europe. The
following points will be discussed in Prague:
- Which kind of topics should be addressed by POLYLOG? Who
should fix them?
- Which newspapers / journals could be partners? How can
they be addressed? Who does it?
- How can we attract more attention to this project?
The project was presented and discussed. It will be developed further starting in spring 2006.
Convention of Young European Citizens
In 2003, the "Europakonvent junger Bürgerinnen und
Bürger" took place in Berlin. 105 young Europeans
made a common resolution about their expectations towards
the constitution.
in 2004, a smaller version of the event took place. Now a
similar event like 2006 could think about the future of Europe
after the Constitutional Crises. How could people be involved,
what should be the consequences of the problems which emerged?
Purpose of this workshop:
1.) To define a main topic for a big Convention
2.) To develop a working group structure and a programme
3.) To discuss how this project should be realised.
This workshop resulted in a project application for which was handed in to the European Commission by the end of November 2005.
