1.) Citizens' Initiative for the Citizens' Initiative
- European project (see the draft) by Democracy International and others, to be presented by Frank Burgdörfer
Several Institutions and Organisations are currently preparing a "Citizens initiative for the Citizens' initiative". The aim is to collect 1 Million signatures for the right of Citizens to initiate a European law by collecting 1 Million signatures for it - something which is included in the European Constitution.
Should we support this? Here is the invitation to a conference in Bruxelles dealing with this issue.

1.) Citzens Weekend Zielena Gora 2006?
- So far we had two Citizens' Weekends, one in Berlin, one in Prague. Does it make sense to have a third one? If so - what should be the strategic purpose of this meeting? What should it look like?
