Contributing to European civil society

„Europe is our business - everybody can contribute!“ This was the general message Citizens of Europe and its partners wanted to reach people with. In order to enable youth workers to provide professional support for youth activities in the field of „active Citizenship“, Citizens of realised a 6 day seminar entitled „Training for Europe“.

Participants gained experience on two different levels: They trained their practical skills in defining, planning and preparing projects. And by doing this within the framework of an international interactive seminar, they learned about how to work in such a setting.

Five teams created project ideas and develop them in 7 steps throughout seven training modules. Each module consisted of input by the trainers, an active phase of group work and feedback by the trainers and other participants.
