Target Group
This is a seminar for Europeans
- who are active in European projects and organisations or would like to become
- who are interested in meeting other active citizens from other European countries
- who want to help develop projects which aim at strenthening Euopean identity and the involvement of European citizens in the building of Europe
- who want to improve their project management skills, learn new techniques and gain from the experience of others
- who want to learn more about the YOUTH programme of the European Union and other funding possibilities
Minimum age for participants is 18, there is no maximum age.
Finances
The fee for the whole training week is 50,-- Euro. Lodging and food are covered. Sucessful candidates have to transfer the fee to our bank account.
Travel cost will be reimbursed by 70 %.
Location and how to get there

The training will take place at the CVJM-Hostel in Berlin-Kaulsdorf (Mädewalder Weg 65).
If you arrive by train:
please take S-Bahn Line 5
to "Hoppegarten", "Mahlsdorf" or "Strausberg". This Line crosses all the major railway stations which are "Hauptbahnhof" (Central Station), "Zoologischer Garten", "Ostbahnhof" and "Lichtenberg".
You may have a look at map with all public transport lines in Berlin. The platforms for S-Bahn are always marked by a big whicht "S" in a green circle.
Leave S5 at "Kaulsdorf". Walk out to the street, then a few meters to the left, then pass the tunnel under the railway tracks. Behind, the hostel is in front of you.
If you arrive by bus to "ZOB":
Please have a look at the surroundings of ZOB. Take bus M49 to railway station "Zoologischer Garten". From there take S5 just as the people arriving by train.
If you arrive by airplane to airport "Berlin Tegel":
Take bus "TXL" to "Hauptbahnhof" (Central station). From there S5 as described above.
If you arrive by airplane to airport "Berlin Schönefeld":
Take train RE7 or RB14 to "Ostbahnhof".
From there S5 as described above.
If you arrive by car:
Leave Autobahn A 10 at "Hellersdorf" towards "Berlin". After about 5 km you will pass a big shopping center called "OBI" on your right hand side. Starting with the traffic lights directly in front of OBI, you will turn left at the fourth traffic light into "Mädewalder Weg". Number 65 is at the other end of the street on the left hand side.
