Training for Active Civil Society

In order to enable youth workers to provide professional support for youth activities in the field of „Active Citizenship“, the Azerbaijan EU Youth Co-operation Organization (www.aeuyco.eu) and Citizens of Europe together with partner organisations will realise a 6 day seminar entitled „Training for Active Civil Society“.
Participants will gain experience on two different levels: They will train their practical skills in defining, planning and preparing projects. And by doing this within the framework of an international interactive seminar, they will learn about how to work in such a setting.
The training seminar will be a good opportunity for participants from the Europe and from the Caucasus, to explore different ways of working and thinking and to reflect on own habits and convictions while being confronted with those of others.
This project will not only lay the base for new activities in the youth sector. It will also improve the co-operation among the partner organisations involved. It will widen the horizon of organisation in EU and improve the contacts between the Caucasus and Europe. Finally, it will create a pool of trainers and youth workers who will collaborate also in future.
